Welcome to CASA!

Volunteer Advocates are screened, trained, and supported by program staff.  Volunteers form a 1-1 relationship with a child to get a full picture of the situation.  Volunteers will communicate with parents, relatives, teachers, counselors, caregivers, caseworkers, and anyone else involved.  Volunteers will review files, gather, and document information to  formulate recommendations, in the form of a court report, on what is in the best interest of the child.

If you are interested in learning more about volunteering, contact CASA at casa@nmcfamilyresourcecenter.com or just fill out this interest form.  An application will be emailed out to you. You can also pick up a paper application at the New Madrid County Family Resource Center.
