Volunteer Advocates are screened, trained, and supported by program staff.  Volunteers form a 1-1 relationship with a child to get a full picture of the situation.  Volunteers will communicate with parents, relatives, teachers, counselors, caregivers, caseworkers, and anyone else involved.  Volunteers will review files, gather, and document information to formulate recommendations, in the form of a court report, on what is in the best interest of the child.
